Boudhanath in Kathmandu is the most venerated Buddhist site in Nepal. The Stupa is on the ancient trade route from Tibet so, Tibetan merchants have rested here and offered prayers since long time. Is believed that here are enshrined the relics of Kassapa Buddha.
