Harari man. The Harari people, also called Geyusu ("City People"), are an ethnic group inhabiting the Horn of Africa. Members traditionally reside in the city of Harar, located in the Harari region of eastern Ethiopia. They speak Harari, a dialect of the Ethiopian language group within the Afro-Asian family and practically all Harari are Muslim.
